Also, instead of the standard eight rounds, only four rounds are played due to the peculiarities of Chinese poker.
Initially, there was only a closed version of this game, it did not find popularity, so open Chinese poker appeared, which positively affected the duration of the process and aroused a wave of interest in certain circles.
Pineapple is a very relevant card game that is rapidly gaining popularity among novice poker players due to its dynamism and fun.
At the start of the round, the standard five cards are dealt face-up, after which they each receive three more face-down cards. The competitor must choose two of them by hand. The third card is thrown face-down due to the reduction of the playing time to four rounds as stated above.
OKP is a card game with incomplete information that a maximum of four people can participate in. A standard deck is used (52 cards, no wildcards). The object of the game: To collect a three combination hand of up to 13 cards that the participant receives during the game.
There are no normal trading circles in this, they are replaced by a calculated system of points and bonuses (royalties) at the end. When playing for money, each is assigned its own value in dollar currency.
Chinese poker “Pineapple” has similar rules to the game in OKP. The task is to collect a hand of 13 cards – 3 combinations, working on the same principle as described above.
If someone’s seniority is violated while forming the received rows (combinations), the player is considered the loser and his hand is “dead”.
At the start of each round, participants (no more than three) receive five face up cards and three more face up cards in subsequent deals. Two of them are chosen who are handed, the last one is thrown unopened.
This rule wasn’t required before, but today it complements online and offline games. Chinese poker also welcomes this bonus, but there are some differences in “Pineapple”.
Fantasy right is awarded to the player who collects a hand with a pair of queens (or cards of the higher rank) in the lowest row. In this case, at the next deal, the participant instantly receives 14 cards face down, which acts as a normal hand.
This provides a noticeable advantage. But in order to maintain this bonus, the player must meet one of the specified conditions – to collect combinations not lower than the following: four of a type in the top row, a full house in the middle or a set in the youngest. After collecting a hand made the 14th card is discarded.
The additional card not only slightly increases the chances of winning, but also increases the player’s ability to comply with the condition in which the bonus can be used again.
At the end of the deal, the points are counted (after the hands of the players are compared to each other). Each combination is checked in pairs (veteran versus veteran, etc.). The “dead” hands, respectively, get 0 points.
The task of the game is not only to make the strongest hand, but also to obtain the maximum amount of “royalties” without disturbing the order of priority in the lines. After the cards are placed, poker players compare their combinations one by one in all three rows. The player also gets two additional points for each line won. Thus, for all three combinations for victory, the participant gets six points.
The rules of the second method are slightly different in that only one point is awarded for the winning combination (and deducted from the opponent respectively). However, the fully winning hand is worth six points at the same time. Bonuses are calculated in the same way as in classical Chinese poker, with the only caveat: their number increases for certain combinations.
Learning how to play OKP is not that difficult, but in case of problems, the programs on the Chinese poker “Pineapple” can be helped in a small number.
